Holocaust Education

For the past three years Yad Yisroel has teamed up with the Claims Conference to provide Holocaust Education and trips Holocaust Memorial Sites in Eastern Europe.

Over the past three years close to two hundred high school students have gone on trips to visit places such as Auschwitz, Krakow, Majdanik and other infamous sites of Nazi horrors.

The students came out of these trips with a much deeper understanding and knowledge of the events of the Holocaust and much deeper appreciation for the Jewish heritage and our national culture and heritage.

This program is far from over. The Claims Conference is currently reviewing our application to renew the grant for a further two years - giving us the chance to educate more children and students about our history and what the Jews of Eastern Europe suffered during those terrible times.
